Dress Down Friday and Quiz raises money for local Bentley and Fishlake/Stainforth Flood victims
The TEAM from D&H have helped locally with those who have suffered in the terrible November Floods particularly affecting our own local areas in BENTLEY & around FISHLAKE / STAINFORTH. We have been handling the awful life affecting claims to homes and businesses (large and small), but still staff got together on Friday to make an effort in collecting funds for these local flood groups many of which, we are already associated with on other worthy projects. HUGE THANK YOU TO THE STAFF FOR DIGGING DEEP IN THEIR POCKETS TO HELP AND GETTING INVOLVED WITH THE FUN QUIZZES.
#100ActsOfKindness Knitted and Crocheted blankets
A fabulous effort by staff and friends to knit and crochet these squares and other items to make up into blankets. Riverside is a wonderful local group that is well worth supporting if you know anybody that likes picking up the needles and has some spare wool.
#100ActsOfKindness the first litter pick of the year and we got wet through!
A spring clean turned out to be a wet litter pick on York Road but plenty of bags collected by Andrew, David & Dianne.
#100ActsOfKindness MAYFLOWER SANCTURY Volunteer Day & regular Donations
Throughout the year staff have collected desperately needed items for Mayflower but back in March, a team including our MD Tim, Julie, Ails and Charlotte spent the day getting down and dirty. Clearing the site, cleaning kennels and general tidying in spring. A wonderful and invaluable day.
